The company was formed and founded by Casting Director pioneer Jackie Kelly in 1973 inside a small rental space above the famous restaurant "Sardi's" in New York’s Theater District.  Originally called Complete Casting at that time, Jackie understood the importance of working with her clients on a personal level, as well as having a strong conenction with the unions, particularly SAG & AFTRA.

As the business grew in the 80's, she moved into a larger office on West 50th Street and was fortunate enough to be able to hire great people to work alongside her.  The company has since grown to include Signatory and Payroll services, adding to Jackie’s already successful casting business.  

Jackie retired in 2011 and a year later the company officialy changed its name to "Complete Production Group" in order to cover the full umbrella of departments and services that the business has flourished under Jackie's direction.   In 2015 we expanded even further with our West Coast office, nestled right on Melrose Avenue to accommodate our increased client base.

The company has been piloted by managing partners, Donald Schwenk and Adam Fisher, who with determination, perseverance, and many years of experience themselves, have continued to develop CPG as the leading service for all of your needs.  The two have cultivated a diverse range of industry relationships with agents, producers, executives, and production companies in order to provide the best guidance towards successful productions which are guaranteed to be on-time, on-spec, and on-budget.

Sadly, Jackie Kelly passed away in October of 2015 ..... however her legacy and principals live on.  Jackie felt business can be something friendly while it is still done precisely and taken seriously.  We believe in the courtesy of returning phone calls quickly, and we also believe that the less you hear from us and the union, the better we are doing our job; you don't need to know how hard we are working.  Our professional relationships is what our business is built on.
